The meeting spot is 300 Camp Road, Charlotte, North Carolina, 28206
This will be on the corner of Mavis Way and Camp Road next to the company called, "Good Postage". There is a bench there so feel free to have a seat if you get there a bit early. We will arrive approximately 10 minutes before the tour begins. -
The tour explores Charlotte’s Black history, culture, communities, landmarks, and the people who helped shape the city, with a particular focus on the historic West Side, 2nd Ward and Brooklyn.

Absolutely! We encourage you to bring your young ones on the tour. They also get special pricing for kids ages 5 to 13. Kids under 2 are not permitted and those from 2-4 can ride with the proper seating on the golf cart in accordance with North Carolina law.

Yes! We do “step-on” tours where we can facilitate and guide a tour on a travel vehicle you have acquire. We also can do larger capacity, bus and van tours but need 30 days notice.

Service dogs are permitted but with need the proper restraints for a golf cart ride to ensure their safety. For other pets give us a call before booking.

If for any reason you need to cancel we offer a rain check that is good for up to two years. You can cash in that rain check or transfer it to a friend to enjoy the tour anytime within that two year window from the date you originally booked.

If the weather is really bad and we have decided we aren’t able to viable conduct a tour or it is unsafe to, we will contact you and offer a rain check for a day with better weather, if you would like a refund instead we will be happy to offer it to you.
